Born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan, I spent more than 20 years studying and working in the United States, along with a brief time in Spain. In 2021, life brought me back to Shizuoka. Now living among the tea fields once again, I work closely with growers and producers, visiting their farms and factories as I continue to deepen my appreciation for their work.
